The Expo Area is a 1.000+ square meter stimulating environment where our partners and sponsors will showcase their latest products and services in data warehousing and analytical software solutions. It's the vibrant heart of our conference and a very attractive and effective option to maximise networking with highly qualified attendees, business leaders, press, industry analysts, academics and Teradata associates.

The Expo will be open full day on Monday and Tuesday: exciting activities are also planned to encourage some fun together and to support Teradata Cares. The theme of this year’s Expo activities will be Football, in anticipation of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

“Teradata Table-Football World Cup”
All participants to the Conference are entitled to take part in a Table-Football Tournament: when registering to the Conference at the registration desk, each attendee will receive a “Teradata Table-Football World Cup” card and the rules of the game. Four table football sets will be available in the Expo Area and each one of them is for 8 players simultaneously.

“Teradata Cares”
Teradata Cares, the charity programme designed to build strong and vibrant communities and improve the quality of life in cities and communities where Teradata employees are working or having conferences, will also host a football related activity in the Expo Space. This activity will support a local organisation, Tannenhof Berlin-Brandenburg e.V., which has been active in the youth work area since 1979. In 2007 they launched the project: “Young Football in Berlin – No Drugs, No Violence”. This project, which is also supported by Hertha BSC and the Berlin police, combines different elements like Anti-Violence Workshops, addiction education and Fairplay-Streetsoccer tournaments.

Visit the Expo area during the Conference to find out how you can be an active part of the Teradata Cares program!
