Paul began his career as a programmer in 1983 working with Wang International Financial Limited. After 7 years of developing and implementing leasing systems in 14 countries across Europe, Australia & Canada – the business was acquired by GE Capital in 1990. Migrating the European business into a large global multi national organisation became the focus for the next few years and was followed by mergers and acquisitions activities for a further two years. After 8 exciting and enjoyable years in GE a big opportunity materialised in 1999 with a move to Eircell(later Vodafone Ireland) – just when mobile was experiencing explosive growth. This move led to the implementation of an enterprise data warehouse in 2003 and later a subsequent move to Telefonica O2 Ireland in 2007. Paul is currently responsible for Information Strategy – a role which allows him to pursue his passion for driving business performance using data.
Paul is married to Barbara, they have two young children Sam & Carla and live in Dublin. As a family they enjoy sailing in Dublin bay.
